About Me

This is my first ever island games!!! Having played golf from an early age i was a very good social golfer , but it was only after snapping my Achilles tendon at 43 that a physiotherapist recommended golf as a good way to return my leg to pre injury strength. I renewed my love of the game with a vengeance and my handicap fell from a 7 culminating to an all time low of plus 1 a couple of years ago. As of today it stands at 1.9 My golfing highlights are 2021 L'ancresse Scratch Champion, 2020 Sandy Trophy winner (L'Ancesse Order of merit) , I have played in 2 Island Insular matches against Jersey (Away (lost) and home (won) and I am also a regular L'ancresse 1st team member.
