About Me

Hello!, I am originally a cross country mountain biker from Stornoway. But in 2020 I moved to Shetland where there is no mountain biking, so I fell in love with triathlon training, especially cycling going on many adventure and long hours. This led to a very strong season last year completing my first full distance triathlon in a time of 2:36 and many sprint triathlons and cycling races. But as soon as I got accept to the island games team my training took a step up and I resultantly I got injured in September last year. This left my unable to cycle and eventually in February unable to run. As I am writing this, in the end of march, I have now got the green light to slowly start getting back to full training and very excited to see what I can bring to the games which will only be my second ever standard distance triathlon.
