About Me

My first taste of the Island Games was in 1993 in the Isle of Wight, where I played badminton and loved every minute of it as a 16 year old! Since then I have competed in: Jersey 1997 - Badminton Gotland 1999 - Badminton Isle of Mann 2001 - Football (Vice Captain) Guernsey 2003 - Badminton Shetlands 2005 - Football (Captain) Greenland 2007 - Badminton - (When Rhodes could not provide Badminton, Greenland took it on and presented players and teams with Island Games medals) Aland 2009 - Football (Captain) Isle of Wight 2011 - Badminton & Football Bermuda 2013 - Badminton & Football Jersey 2015 - Badminton Gotland 2017 - Badminton Gibraltar 2019 - Badminton (torn hamstring) Guernsey 2023 - badminton So, this will be my 15th Island Games... and I'm sure I love it as much as the rest of them! Really looking forward to experiencing Orkney Islands as well as seeing old friends and making new friends along the way.
