About Me

Spike Jinks is a 16-year-old swimmer from Guernsey making his Island Games debut at Orkney 2025. Spike has already made a name for himself with medal-winning performances at county level, the Channel Island interinsular meets, and the recent 2024 Malta Olympic Committee Invitational Games. Specialising in freestyle and butterfly events, he has trained with the Beau Sejour Barracudas from a young age and is known for his determination, speed, and competitive spirit. Competing at the Orkney 2025 Island Games marks the achievement of a lifetime swimming ambition for Spike and he is thrilled and honoured to be here representing Guernsey on this island stage for the first time.
