Competing In

About Me

I've been competing in recurve archery for Shetland since the Rhodes games of 2007. My best performance was not in the official Island Games, but in the "Guernsey Games" of 2013 when the full Island Games were in Bermuda, minus the archery. I won gold in the men's head to head that year and won a silver and bronze in other events. I managed to reach the quarter final last time around in 2023, again in Guernsey. I've been running sessions to attract new archers in Shetland and I'm proud that two of our new recruits are coming to the games this time. I'm sure they will love the games as much as I do.
